Executive Biography

In June 2002, Barbara C. Watkins was appointed Director of the VA Medical Center in Alexandria, Louisiana. The VAMC Alexandria is comprised of one medical center and two community based outpatient clinics in Lafayette and Jennings, Louisiana.
Barbara C. Watkins is a native of Colorado and received a Bachelors degree in Nutrition from Colorado State University. She joined the VA in 1966 and has previously served as the Associate Director of the Oklahoma City VAMC and the Allen Park, Michigan VAMC.
Barbara C. Watkins is member of the American College of Health Care Executives (ACHE) and a past member of the American Diatetic Association (ADA). |
